Purpose of the Association

✔ An alumni association is an association of graduates or more broadly, of former students.
✔ The purpose of this association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the general welfare of the organization. The alumni association exists to support the parent organization’s goal, and to strengthen the ties between alumni, the community and the parent organization.
✔ An Alumnus is one of the most important stakeholders of Higher Educational Institution.
✔ Alumni endeavors to impart, share, collective experiences among themselves, the society and future alumni. Alumni have always been a source of support and inspiration for the students and staff of the college.
✔ Though not registered one, the college has established Alumni Association Coordination Committee in the year 2009-2010.
✔ The main intention behind the establishment of this committee is to maintain a good rapport with ex-students.
✔ The alumni meet once in a year. In this meeting present and former students discuss various things regarding the present education. Alumni share the happy moments of their college life with the present students.
✔ In the meeting of Alumni Association, the alumni are told about the progression of the institution. They are informed about the various schemes and courses which are running in the institution for the welfare of students.
✔ Opinions and suggestions are invited if any on the present activities in the institution. In the important programmes like Sanskritik Mahotsava, Krida Mahotsavaand other major events of the college, alumni are invited as a guest.
