About Department
The library is one of place where the students and faculties in the college under the cluster one depend of their information requirement. The faculties, researcher and the students really upon library resources for enriching their knowledge and get recent information. The frequency of visit of the users day by day goes to decreasing so at the time library face big challenges. The library resources of Late VKAC Rohana with its allegiance to learning provides the student with a well development information resources including of books, subject wise journals, magazines, e-journals with the help N-List INFLIBNET. The aim of library is improve the reading habits of users and encouraging research activity.The library has been established with inception of college in 1999. In the opening there was only 29 books and very limited space. Rajendra Mnikpure appointed as a Librarian in2009,Library books available are 520 But day by day the college has continued to add the collection. Today our total collection is 2628 of books and 15 bounded volume of back journals, current journals 08 &Magazine 04 & Newspaper 04. The collection includes text books various subject, reference books, miscellaneous books, Encyclopedias, Thesis, previous year question paper of RTMNU. These question paper are send on email of needy students for the requirement. The LIBTECK Software use in library and all the book automation of library completed. With the help of N-List of consortia Inflibnet. The library provide reading room facility, OPAC facilities, Book Bank facilities, Xerox facility. Online Information Facility, e-journal facility and best practice Best user Award, library department organized orientation programme for new corner’s user. Library department organize various activities like books exhibition at different places, Workshop, Newspaper clipping, Vachan Prerna Din on the occasion of birth anniversary former president of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
