About Department
Under the leadership of respected Ad. Nitinji Kolhatkar, the president of Swami Vivekanand Bahuuddeshiya Vikas Shikshan Santha, Rohana, Late Vasantaro Kolhatkar Arts, College was established in 1999. Since the year of its establishment, Marathi Language and Literature have been taught in the college. The college encompassed only under-graduation programme. There are at present 120 sanctioned seats for Marathi and 120 seats for Marathi Literature. There are one full time teacher in the department. The main aim of the department is to generate interest of students in Marathi Language & Marathi Literature at higher Levels of learning.
